About Us
Biomedical Informatics & Genomics Center (BIGC) is affiliated to the biomedical and Health Engineering Research Institute of Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbour. Relying on the Key Laboratory of biomedical information engineering of Ministry of education of Xi'an Jiaotong University, BIGC is an interdisciplinary scientific research and innovation platform. It mainly uses modern molecular biology, molecular genetics, statistical genetics, bioinformatics and other multidisciplinary methods, combined with the innovation in theory and method of our laboratory, to carry out systematic genetic research on human complex diseases. It provides theoretical guidance for disease early prediction and genetic screening, and provides new targets for new drug development.
